Issue reported:
While configure WSUS Post installation is keep failing.

Point 1: Validate reported server event and found below error.
Point 2: Validate SoftwareDistribution.log and found below error.
Solution:
Open IIS>Expand IIS- Remove WSUS Administration created virtual directory>restart IIS service and proceed to wsus post configuration task. It will work as needed.

22-04-2021 02:10 pmTried that several times but unfortunately the post installation kept failing. Since I saw in the errorlog that it was iis related I tried opening the default web site in iis and also got the dreaded 503 page not found. Now in my case the strange but neat part. I just deleted the default web site in iis and all of a sudden the post installation started to work without error message (even with dotnet 4.7 installed)
