Deploying software on MAC devices can be a complex task, especially for IT administrators managing multiple systems. However, with ManageEngine Endpoint Central, this process becomes streamlined and efficient. Method 1: Deploy Manually by Creating Software Packages. 

1. Select "Create Software Package": 

   • Go to the Software Installation section. 
   • Click on "Add Package" to initiate the process. 
2. Choose the Package Type: 

   • Select "Mac" as the platform for which you are creating the package. 
3. Fill in Package Details: 

   • Enter the necessary details such as name, vendor, version, and description. 
   • Upload the installation file (e.g., .dmg or .pkg) for the application you want to deploy. 
4. Configure Installation Options: 

   • Specify installation parameters, such as silent installation options if required. 
   • Define any pre-requisites or dependencies needed for the software. 
5. Save the Package: 
   • Review your entries and click on "Add Package" to create the software package.
       

1. Select the Created Package: 

   • From the list of software packages, choose the one you just created. 
2. Initiate Deployment: 

   • Click on the "Install/Uninstall Software" option and select computer configuration for Mac to start the deployment process. 
3. Set Deployment Schedule: 

   • Decide whether to deploy immediately or schedule it for a later time. 
4. Target Devices Selection:

3. Auto-Update Feature: 

   • Enable auto-update for templates to ensure that you always have access to the latest versions of application 
4. Deploy Using Templates: 
   • Select a template that fits your needs, define your target devices, and proceed with deployment similar to other package types.
      

Method 3: Deploy in Self Service Portal 

1. Enable Self Service Portal: 

   • Ensure that your organization has configured the Self Service Portal feature in Endpoint Central. 
2. Publish Software Packages: 

   • Publish available software packages in the Self Service Portal so that users can access them directly. 
3. User Access and Installation: 
   • Users can log into the Self Service Portal, view available applications, and initiate installations at their convenience without needing IT intervention
