Issue: Install update failed to install with error 0x87d00692
Today we will have discussed about how can we resolve these kind of error. We are all aware that we have multiple SUP and sometime client is pointing to location SUP or WSUS if we are not pointing by GPO while install client based on boundary setting it will have updated correct SUP in registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
In our scenarios if we have configure with just like example http://WSUSserver:8530 then we may get error we have to update with FQDN as example http://wsusserver.yourdomain.com:8530 to avoid error 0x87d00692.
