    • Click Automate task and select OS to configure: 
      1. Select Application: Select which Updates to deploy automatically. 
      2. Choose Deployment Settings: Set up recurring or one-time deployment schedules. 
      3. Pre-deployment activities: Configure User Notification & other activities.  
      4. Post-deployment activities: Configure system reboot behavior post-deployment.  

5. Monitoring and Reporting 

    • Access Threats & Patches > Reports to view:
       
      1. Executive Patch Summary: Lists all missing patches across devices. 
      2. Patch Compliance Report: Shows the compliance status of recent patch deployments. 
    • Use these reports to ensure patches are applied correctly and address any deployment failures.

  • Regular Scanning: Schedule frequent scans to ensure patches are applied promptly. 
  • Test Patches: Test critical patches in a controlled environment before deploying them organization-wide. 
  • Automate Approvals: Use automated approval for non-critical patches to reduce administrative overhead. 
  • Monitor Patch Status: Regularly review patch reports to identify and address deployment issues quickly.
